Fire Door Installation Package Secured at Northampton General Hospital

45 fire doors for a new 33-bed decant ward

Inox Interiors Ltd has secured the internal fire door installation package for a new 33-bed decant ward at Northampton General Hospital.

Working on behalf of main contractor J.E.T Construction, our team will install 45 fire doors throughout the new facility. The package forms an important part of the internal works required to prepare the ward for occupation.

Every door set and its associated components will be installed in accordance with the project specification, manufacturers’ requirements and applicable fire-performance standards.

With the work taking place within a live hospital, careful planning and coordination will be essential. We will work closely with J.E.T Construction, hospital representatives and the wider project team to manage access, maintain safe working areas and minimise disruption to nearby hospital services.

The works are scheduled to commence in September 2026 and will be delivered with a strong focus on compliance, accurate installation and quality control.
